Help. Rich Uncle Pennybags is Chasing Me!

Ok. I think the early Christmas toy ads are starting to get to me. I had a dream the other night that the guy with the top hat from the Monopoly game was chasing me. It was kind of creepy, as Rich Uncle Pennybags is not a real attractive dude. His wardrobe is a bit outdated and that mustache could definitely use a good trim. I was wishing that I had that little Monopoly race car to make a quick get away.

However, it turns out he was pretty nice and what happened the next day was even better. Maybe he was a sign of things to come that day. But, my husband found $20 dollars at work. With no way to find the owner. We also received a check from the IRS from overpayment. Coincidence? I think not! Follow me anytime Monopoly guy with the top hat. You’re always welcome in my dreams!

The McRib is Back….Did Ya Hear?

The McRib is back! Did ya hear? Call me crazy, but why must we once again bring back this hunk of faux rib meat that gets everyone in a tizzy? Is it really “that good” of a sandwich that we must continue to revive it year after year?

Why not bring back the McDLT…where the hot stays hot and the cool stays cool? (Of course, changing the less than environmentally friendly extra long styrofoam container.) How about bringing back the chocolate pies? Now this was a winner for all of us chocolate lovers.

Why not add some “new coke” as a fountain drink, along with the revival of the McRib? (Thanks Coke for that fiasco during my childhood formative years.)

I haven’t had a McRib in years and I must say I’m quite tempted to give it another shot. Maybe, there is something that I’ve forgotten about this “tangy temptation”, loaded with bbq sauce, pickles and mega calories. Something that contributes to its tried and true popularity by McPatrons across the world. I’m sure I’m missing something.
